Great article. I have really made life difficult for myself — I’m a woman working in tech, I have an arts degree (Eng Lit and Philosophy), I’m not an ex-dev or engineer, I don’t have ‘deep’ technical knowledge… What I am good at is leading people, coaching and seeing things from a different perspective. It’s got me so far, but it does rather rely on those around me seeing the value on what I bring — and that can be a gamble.
